COVID-19 Updates & Resources

(Updated June 1, 2021, July 30, 2021, August 19, 2021, January 3, 2022, March 11, 2022, June 29, 2022, April 3, 2023)

Our COVID-19 guidelines are regularly updated based on the current local cases and CDC/WHO guidelines. These latest updates are effective April 3, 2023.

We hope you are enjoying all the new growth and life blooming in our area right now. Starting Monday, April 3, 2023, it is no longer a legal requirement for medical offices to have staff and clients be masked. With this change, our team has discussed how we can proceed grounded in our values of disability justice and community care while also wanting to give you choice based on your preferences. We hope the guidelines below strike that balance for you.

INTERCONNECTIONS GUIDELINES

  1. Please remain masked in our open, common areas.
  2. Please discuss options with your clinician if you are unvaccinated against COVID-19. You may be asked to mask in session or asked to do virtual sessions only.
  3. All of our therapists will mask if that is your preference. No questions asked.
  4. If your therapist would like clients to be masked, they will let you know. Some of these preferences could be temporary based on their life circumstances. If you would like to transfer your care to someone who does not require masking, we will try our best to accommodate your request.
  5. If your therapist is flexible about clients masking, they will check with you about your mask preferences at the beginning of the sessions. Please feel free to change your preference as your needs change.
  6. If you have any symptoms of a cold/flu or COVID-19 (e.g., fatigue, cough, runny nose, fever, nausea, sore throat), do not come in and please ask to be seen virtually.

Thank you for navigating this new terrain with us.
