Apps for Mental Health

Mental health apps can be another effective complement to therapy. These apps are not designed with the intention of replacement treatment, but when used as a supplement, it can enhance the work that is already being done in therapy.

1. Liberate Meditation – A free meditation app dedicated to empowering Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities. Developed by people of color. 

2. HeadspaceA mindfulness and meditation themed app designed to reduce stress and anxiety, and to improve attention and awareness.

3. Breathe2Relax A free app that teaches breathing techniques to manage stress.

4. Happify A free app that helps improve your mood with games, activities, gratitude prompts and more.

5. Calm A free app that provides guided meditation, sleep stories, breathing exercises, and relaxing music to help decrease anxiety and stress.
